Licensing

Matrix Betz only publishes photographs whose license clearly permits commercial reuse. Everything else falls back to our own artwork.
Photographs on this site come from two sources, and only when the source's own metadata confirms a license that allows commercial reuse: TheSportsDB artwork carrying Creative Commons metadata, and Wikimedia Commons files that are public domain, CC0, CC BY or CC BY-SA. Non-commercial, no-derivatives and unclear licenses are automatically rejected and never published.
Where no compliant photograph exists, we display original Matrix Betz artwork or a sport-specific Matrix visual instead.
Photographs are used under the licenses shown and do not imply any endorsement of Matrix Betz by the athletes, teams or photographers pictured.
